RSRTC buses are very critical for incoming tourists or tourists residing in Udaipur city, as it connects Udaipur to many famous tourist destinations located in neighboring towns & villages. Auto rickshaw is by far the most popular public transportation system among the locals of Udaipur. However auto rickshaws here are not typically 3 seaters but are 6 seaters and hence are little large in size. They nevertheless bear the typical & standard yellow and black color. But, the most important thing is that here auto rickshaws don’t charge on meter. Commuters are charged fixed fare depending on which location they want to go. Tourists are however advised to resort to negotiation & bargaining in case if they find the fare is unduly high.
