In order to celebrate the victory of the dam, one particular moonless night during rainy season was sacredly chosen and it is from that day onwards that the Hariyali Amavasya Fair is organized in Udaipur at the Sahelion Ki Bari.
Gangaur is also a festival in Udaipur that is celebrated by women who perform a pooja known as ‘Parvati Pooja’.
